- Associate Degree Graduate of Accredited School of Nursing (required)
- Bachelor’s Degree Bachelor of Science in Nursing (preferred)
- RN – Registered Nurse Upon Hire (required) and
- OB/GYN experience (strongly preferred)
- ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support Upon Hire (required) or
- BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support Upon Hire (required)
- Knowledge of nursing processes, health care systems, structure, functions and community resources.
- Understanding of health care technology, equipment, and supplies. Familiarity with state law on nursing care, nurse practice guidelines, and clinic policies and procedures.
- Ability to effectively communicate to staff and patients.
- Demonstrates sound judgment and composure with the ability to take appropriate action in questionable or emergency situations.
- Maintains a positive, caring attitude towards patients.
- Possesses a strong work ethic and a high level of professionalism.
- Delivers care to patients utilizing the RN Process
- Room/triage patients documenting vital signs, allergies, chief complaint, reconcile meds
- Obtain consents for in office procedures
- Order devices from specialty pharmacy
- Document health history for all new patients and update current patients
- Review and report normal lab results with patients & educate as needed, schedule any follow up
- Perform general nursing care to patients by following established standards and procedures, including assisting with in-office procedures
- Performs other duties as assigned.
