Here’s What You Need
- High School Diploma or Equivalent Preferred
- 6 Months Related Experience Preferred
- 6 Months Customer Service Preferred
- 6 months of inventory experience Preferred
- 6 hospital experience Preferred
- Able to move 50 lbs.
- BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Required
What You Will Do
- Deliver patient care equipment, rental equipment, and beds to requesting departments. Also, must maintain par levels for on patient care units.
- Pick up soiled equipment and clean per the manufactures’ IFU.
- Must be able to track equipment in RTLS.
- Assist with battery installations of tracker devices that are low or depleted.
- Assist with adding trackers to new equipment and remove trackers from disposed equipment.
- Send damaged equipment to HTM.
- Assist with upgrade projects as needed.
- Complete work orders by established deadlines.
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and Promise Behaviors.
- Complete other tasks as assigned by leadership.
- Utilizes Real Time Location System (RTLS) to track equipment. Uses system to maintain par levels on units, pick up dirty equipment, track usage of beds and rental equipment.
- Visualizes and tracks other rental equipment as needed. Makes sure equipment usage and other information is communicated to lead/supervisor.
- Transports patient care equipment, supplies, and other applicable supporting items throughout the hospital. The purpose is to supplement the necessary movement of the patient and supplies in an efficient and effective way.
- Prioritizes non-patient care moves to complement patient care moves. Works with the different units for collaboration and excellence.
- Ensures service standards as defined by entity are upheld and scores well on customer satisfaction metrics such as Press Ganey, HCAHPS, and/or Internal Survey.
- 2.5 transports per hour Prioritizes transports based on priority.
- Documents all process (response and completion).
- Ability to make independent decisions while maintaining tact, maturity, and a professional attitude.
- Excellent verbal communication. Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
- Knowledge of Windows/PC helpful. Proactive problem solving; good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills; advanced computer skills; time management.
