Security Shift Supervisor- Full time, Rotating

Here’s What You Need 

• H.S. Diploma or Equivalent is required
• Associate’s Degree is preferred
• 2 Years security, law enforcement, or military police is required and
• 2 Years healthcare or education security is preferred
• CSO – Commissioned Security Officer Texas Private Security Level 2 (not required if have Level 3) 14 Days is required And
• ACPI – Advanced Crisis Prevention Intervention Training maintained annually 30 Days is required And
• CSO – Commissioned Security Officer Texas Private Security Level 3 (2 attempts permitted). Biannual recertification. 120 Days is required And
• DL – Drivers License Class C and must be insurable 120 Days is required And
• TASER Certification Complete Course & Certification (2 attempts permitted). Annual recertification. 120 Days is required
• Excellent customer service skills. Effective management skills and techniques. Good verbal and written communication skills, evidenced by demeanor and previous training. Basic computer skills with MS Office and other industry-driven software.
• Knowledge of industry standards including but not limited to ASIS, IAHSS, TJC, Medicare, OSHA, State of Texas DPS. Knowledge of continuous improvement and change management.
• Must possess the ability to physically defend and/or restrain people.
• Must successfully complete a psychological evaluation. 

What You Will Do

• Leads security briefings for officers and distributes equipment
• Patrols buildings and ground for unlocked secured areas for after hour entry.
• Locks and opens doors according to schedules.
• Provides individual and group escorts to and from parking areas
• Orientates new employees
