Registered Nurse, RN (PRN)- Pre Admission Testing  
 Fast-paced, high volume department is looking for top skilled nurses.  Is that you?

Work location: Texas Health Allen 1105 Central Expwy North TX 75013
Work hours: PRN with a variable schedule that allows for shift coverage on days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays, as well as the ability to work at least one day every week.

Here’s What You Need
• Associate degree from an accredited Nursing program Or Diploma Nurse Program required
• BSN preferred
• One-year experience as a registered nurse, or completion of an RN residency program required.
• 1 year of critical care (ICU, ER, NICU, OR, PACU) experience as a registered nurse preferred
• RN – Registered Nurse Upon Hire Required 
• BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support and ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support and CPI – Crisis Prevention Intervention Training 60 Days Required 

 
What You Will Do
Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process
• Assesses the patient
• Plans the care of the patient
• Intervenes as appropriate
• Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions
• Incorporates age-specific safety/infection control measures into patient care.
• Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant other’s need for information
• Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out-of-hospital transfers.
