Sr. Data Integration Engineers: collaborate with business, analysts, and subject matter experts to rapidly design, develop, refine, implement, and support data integration solutions using Infosphere DataStage, SQL, and Unix Scripting; analyze and assess availability, quality, and lineage of source system data; design and map data from source to target and develop data integration solutions that meet business needs; develop data integration standards; develop, test, and implement production data integration solutions that are fully integrated into the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW); ensure model design meets end user needs; support production Data Warehouse applications and utilize tools to proactively manage source system changes, optimize applications, and ensure availability, accuracy, security, and performance; contribute information to the data governance software to improve knowledge downstream; comply with information security and privacy policies, ITSM processes and Data Integration development and design standards and best practices; and serve as subject matter expert with regard to data integration technical questions and capabilities.
Education Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Science, Engineering or a closely-related field.
Work Experience Requirements: Six (6) years of progressive professional work experience in computer systems including six (6) years of continuous ETL development with InfoSphere Information Server products DataStage or Informatica; six (6) years of continuous Teradata Database or Oracle or SQL Server Experience; and six (6) years of continuous SQL development including advanced queries, tables, views, indexes, and joins; Unix scripts development and integration with enterprise scheduling tools; SDLC, ITSM and data privacy and security; and business requirements definition, data source and data flow design, data quality analysis, and data models development.
Alternative Requirements: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Science, Engineering or a closely-related field and three (3) years of professional work experience in computer systems, including three (3) years of continuous ETL development with InfoSphere Information Server products DataStage or Informatica; three (3) years of continuous Teradata Database or Oracle or SQL Server experience; and three (3) years of continuous SQL development including advanced queries, tables, views, indexes, and joins; Unix scripts development and integration with enterprise scheduling tools; SDLC, ITSM and data privacy and security; and business requirements definition, data source and data flow design, data quality analysis, and data models development.
