Work location:   6301 Harris Parkway, Suite 300, Fort Worth, TX 76132
Work hours:  Full-time, 40 hours weekly, Monday thru Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
Travel:  25% to surrounding clinics as needed (mileage reimbursement provided)

Here’s What You Need
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
  • Associate’s Degree (preferred)
  • 1 year Transcription Experience (required)
  • 3 years Transcription Experience (preferred)
  • Certified Medical Transcriptionist (CMT) or equivalent Work Experience Upon Hire (preferred)
  • Comprehensive knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Demonstrated advanced typing skills.
  • General office skills including proficient computer skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Possesses a strong work ethic and a high level of professionalism.
  • A team player who handles multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
 
What You Will Do
  • Transcribes dictated reports accurately within established standards.
  • Recognizes, interprets and evaluates inconsistencies, discrepancies and inaccuracies in medical text or dictation appropriately to clarify, flag, or report as needed.
  • Translates medical jargon and abbreviations into their expanded form.
  • Prioritizes dictated reports based on level of continuity of care needs.
  • Edits for grammar and clarity, as necessary.
  • Produces a variety of documents, including discharge summaries, history and physical examination reports, operative reports, consultation reports, autopsy reports, diagnostic imaging studies, progress notes and referral letters.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
