Work location: Texas Health Corporate & System Services 612 E Lamar Blvd, Arlington, TX 76011 – Remote

Work hours: PRN “as needed” Day shift between 7am-5pm

 Here’s What You Need

  • H.S. Diploma or Equivalent required and 
  • Associate’s Degree Human Resources, Business Administration, or relevant field required or
  • Bachelor’s Degree Human Resources, Business Administration, or relevant field required
  • 2 years of relevant experience in Human Resources without a degree required or
  • Relevant HR experience preferred, but not required with an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree
  • PHR – Professional in Human Resources Upon Hire Preferred Or
  • SPHR – Senior Professional in Human Resources Upon Hire Preferred Or
  • SHRM-CP – SHRM Certified Professional Upon Hire Preferred Or
  • SHRM-SCP – SHRM Senior Certified Professional Upon Hire Preferred Or
  • Other Nationally recognized HR certification Upon Hire Preferred
  • Ability to understand and analyze data. Ability to communicate effectively. Possess critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to think and act strategically. Ability to develop relationships at all levels. Proficient in use of common business software and applications such as MS Office, PeopleSoft, etc.
  • Ability to effectively manage projects. Possess effective time management skills.
  • Knowledgeable of current laws, regulations, and compliance issues affecting Human Resources. Possess investigative skills. Ability to continuously seek self-improvement to include pursuing professional and personal development opportunities.

  

What You Will Do 

  • Create an exciting and engaging experience for candidates through the preboarding process. Monitor and provide guidance as candidates progress through their preboarding steps to ensure they are hired timely and efficiently. Sustain a high level of service delivery with candidates and serves as a readily available resource.   
  • Serve as subject matter expert and a point of escalation for HRSC Representatives for complex issues and to assist with unresolved questions and issues related to assigned functional area. Assist employees and managers to resolve questions and issues escalated via requests. 
  • Support and demonstrate the customer service expectations and relevant performance metrics. Apply documented procedures, policies, and practices to accurately research and respond to calls/cases received, utilizing sound judgment to make appropriate determinations on resolutions needed. Utilize tools and resources to perform responsibilities accurately and efficiently. Escalate requests/issues outside of process or scope for role to supervisor. Maintains understanding and knowledge of organization HR policies, federal, state, and local employment law. 
  • Responsible for initiating background checks for new hires, providing updates on completion and escalating as needed.  
  • Liaise with other HR functional areas to collaborate on unique scenarios and identifying solutions for escalated issues. Evaluate call and case data to identify areas of process/resource improvement. Complete special assignments and projects as assigned. Serve as call support during peaks in call volumes.
