Registered Nurse (RN) – Vascular Access

Work location: Texas Health Plano, 6200 West Parker Road, Plano, TX 75093
Work hours: Full/Time Days; 3/12 hours shifts per week; weekend and holiday requirements
Vascular Access Department Highlights:
· Multi-disciplinary teamwork with providers, staff, and patients/families to provide patient-centered care
· Working alongside a dedicated team of nurses applying specialized nursing education and critical vascular access competencies to support patient’s plan of care
· Positively impacting patient outcomes through skills and knowledge concerning Central Line Associated Blood Stream Infection (CLABSI) prevention
Here’s What You Need:
· Nursing Diploma in Nursing required or
· Associate’s degree in nursing required or
· Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred
· 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting required
· Vascular Access experience highly preferred
· Vascular Access device insertion including ultrasound guided PIV (UGPIV), Midlines, (ML), and Peripherally Inserted Central Catheters (PICCS) strongly preferred
· RN – Registered Nurse upon hire required
· BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly upon hire required and
· A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
