Work location: Hybrid; most work is completed remotely but must be available to travel to various Texas Health Ambulatory and Virtual Care locations for meetings and on-site support as needed to serve the clients of three entities: Texas Health Urgent Care, Texas Health Virtual Care, and Addiction Recovery Center by Texas Health.
Work hours: Full Time, 40 hours weekly, mostly daytime hours.
The Human Resources (HR) Business Partner partners, advises, and influences on all aspects of Strategic HR to various levels of leaders in the organization, fostering a high performing culture across Texas Health. The Human Resources Business Partner is a results-oriented, data driven advisor, and consultant for designated Texas Health client groups that advocates between the business and HR in accordance with Texas Health policy and procedure to support business needs and enable employees to do their life’s best work.
Texas Health Breeze Urgent Care specializes in everything from allergies and earaches to sprains and injuries. We have more than 26 clinic locations throughout the DFW area and we have big plans for growth.
Texas Health Virtual Care (THVC) is another growing team housed on the THD campus and is made up of members of various health care teams working remotely from centralized location, deploying innovative solutions and enhanced technology capabilities used to provide seamless virtual care delivery. The Virtual Patient Observation Program is facilitated by Virtual Care RNs responsible for providing and coordinating high-quality patient care to various patient populations within the framework of the Advanced Hospital at Home model. In addition to RNs, the Virtual Care Companion team provides continuous technology enabled monitoring and surveillance/observation services to our in-patient Texas Health Hospital consumers with intervention steps and escalation paths to support patient safety and prevention of injury. The Service Coordinator team facilitates the work behind the Quick Care video platform for BH and UC visits, as well as the Virtual Patient Observation Programs. Finally, the Diabetes Education Program is made up of remote Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist providing virtual education to inpatients who are newly diagnosed with diabetes or new to insulin at discharge. They also provide glycemic management services for the hospitals by proactively reviewing charts and making recommendations to assist hospital care teams with meeting glycemic management targets.
Addiction Recovery Center by Texas Health (ARCTH) located in Mansfield Texas, where our care team provides services for clients needing medically safe detox, to residential treatment programs, counseling, and traditional 12-step recovery. They also offer Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), and an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP).
Here’s What You Need
• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration or relevant field required
• Individuals hired as an HRBP prior to Oct 11, 2021, may substitute 4 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
• 5 years of Professional HR experience required
• PHR – Professional in Human Resources within 2 years of hire required OR
• SPHR – Senior Professional in Human Resources within 2 years of hire required OR
• SHRM-CP – SHRM Certified Professional within 2 years of hire required OR
• SHRM-SCP – SHRM Senior Certified Professional within 2 years of hire required OR
• Other – Another nationally recognized HR certification within 2 years of hire required
The successful HR Business Partner will have the following skills:
• Ability to understand and analyze data while utilizing critical thinking skills to gain understanding of assigned client groups business and needs.
• Develop collaborative relationships within all levels of the organization.
• Communicate effectively with all levels of an organization to foster a sense of teamwork and gain buy-in as needed.
• Proven track record influencing leaders at all levels of the organization while demonstrating excellent decision quality and providing education and insight as to best practices. • Possess understanding of role of all HR functions/Centers of Excellence and how they relate to client groups and employees.
• Proficient in use of common business software and applications such as MS Office, PeopleSoft, etc.
• Ability to effectively manage projects while utilizing time management skills. Knowledgeable of current laws, regulations, and compliance issues affecting Human Resources
What You Will Do
• Strategic Human Resource Consultation: Maximizes effectiveness by providing performance management consultation and participating in the design, implementation, support, and ongoing assessment of our programs. Builds collaborative relationships through rounding and understanding the needs, goals and objectives of their respective business leaders.
• Engagement and Effectiveness: Clearly defines alignment of business needs and People & Culture priorities to advance the mission and goals of Texas Health. Proactively identifies opportunities to further employee engagement, leveraging employee survey data to generate actionable insights that improve engagement.
• Data Fluency and Analytics: Conducts effective rounding with designated Texas Health client groups which drives data driven decisions around people metrics, related labor data and additional insights. Proactively collaborates with Talent Acquisition leveraging staffing dashboards to support client groups workforce needs.
• Personal Growth/Community Involvement: Owns, leads, and participates on committees, initiatives, and projects. Manages own personal growth and learning and development. Mentors, trains, and coaches other HR professionals as needed.
