We have several upcoming projects, to be able to better serve our patients by meeting them where they are, so come join us from the beginning!
Our technicians courier medications to various locations outside of the hospital and deliver medication throughout the hospital to the patient bedside.
Position Highlights:
Work location: Texas Health Fort Worth 1301 Pennsylvania Ave, Fort Worth, TX 76104
Work hours: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM and 12:30 PM – 9:00 PM rotating between these shifts

Here’s What You Need
· High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
· RPhT – Registered Pharmacy Technician Upon Hire Required
· IV Certification Preferred
· 2 years of previous Retail Pharmacy experience highly preferred
· Proficiency in written and verbal English language, computers, the ability to adapt to various software systems, and basic math including conversions, proportions, ratios, and algebra.
· The ability to work alone and as part of a team.
What You Will Do
· Timely and accurate preparation, delivery to the nursing units/appropriate departments & storage of medications, including (when appropriate) the use of technology to do so, varies by location.
· Ensuring accuracy of one’s own work as well as the maintenance of required competencies, and other documentation. Must reflect consistently departmental quality improvement and Patient Safety standards, programs, and initiatives.
· Ongoing professional development and growth, leads by example, perpetuates accountability, manages own time.
· Communicate effectively, develop positive working relationships and role model teamwork that reflects the Texas Health Promise Behaviors. Trains new employees on routine tasks, under the direction of designated personnel.
· Shares the responsibility for minimizing pharmaceutical costs (including wastage) and discovering new process efficiencies.
· Other duties as assigned.
