Cardiovascular Special Procedures Tech – Cath Lab–Full Time Days

HERE’s WHAT YOU NEED:

•    Associates Degree in Applied Science required Or
•    Completion of accredited program in Cardiovascular Technology required Or
•    High School Diploma or equivalent with 2 years of work experience in invasive cardiology required.
•    1 year of vascular or cardiac angiography preferred.
•    ARRT – American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Upon Hire required And
•    GMRT – General Medical Radiologic Technologist If ARRT Only Upon Hire preferred Or
•    RCIS – Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist required upon hire (ability to obtain within 6 month of hire if graduate from a Cardiovascular Accredited Program) 
•    LMRT – Limited Medical Radiologic Technologist If RCIS Only Upon Hire preferred And
•    BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required.
•    ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support 90 Days Required 

WHAT YOU WILL NEED DO:

•    Imaging Quality and Processing:
•    Explains procedures to patient or guardian / family member if applicable prior to exam.
•    Performs complex procedures including age related criteria and developmental considerations.
•    Assists cardiologists with complex and invasive procedures using aseptic technique.
•    Correctly sends and transfers images
