Patient Account Rep II – Collections Department

**Contract/NON-Contract/Secondary Collections**
Work location: Texas Health Corporate Campus, 612 East Lamar Blvd, Arlington, TX 76011
(Primarily Remote, must live in DFW)
Work hours: Full Time Days Monday through Friday (Between 8:00am-3:30pm) for 40 hrs/week.

Here’s What You Need
· High School Diploma or equivalent (Required)
· Two years of related experience (Required)
· Two years of Contract Collections experience (Strongly Preferred)
· Epic Care Connect experience a plus
What You Will Do
· Verify validity of account balances by researching, reviewing and ensuring accuracy of payment and adjustment posting
· Contact payors, networks, patients, employers and other responsible parties to acquire timely and accurate/expected payment on assigned Accounts Receivable inventory
· Take necessary steps needed to acquire and provide information needed for claims that have a zero payment
· Process rebills and other system actions, as needed
· Understand and apply appropriate system discounts
