Histology Tech II – PRN

What you’ll need

• High School or equivalent is required upon hire.
• Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Lab Science or Chemical, Physical or Biological Science is preferred.  New graduates are welcome to apply.
• HT(ASCP) – Histotechnician or a HTL(ASCP) – Histotechnologist is required within 90 days of hire.

What you’ll do

• Specimen Integrity
• Specimen Processing
• Microtomy
• Preparation of Slides and Stains
• Evaluate stains
• Reference Lab
• Follows established protocols for esoteric tests.
• Follows established protocols for extradepartmental consults.
