Fortune magazine highlights industry leaders
Texas Health Resources is one of America’s most innovative companies, according to an analysis by Fortune magazine and Statista Inc., a global market research firm.
Texas Health was ranked 230 among 300 companies that do business in the United States and are transforming industries in various areas – from research and development, creation of new processes and services to brainstorming. The list was published by Fortune in America’s Most Innovative Companies 2023 and is available to magazine subscribers. Companies that made the list reflect various sectors of the marketplace, including healthcare, tech, insurance and media.

The list honors companies that exhibit a range of innovation, including product, process and culture. Texas Health’s rankings in these innovation categories were: 150 in culture, 212 in product and 258 in process.

Other initiatives, services and medical advancements added by Texas Health in recent years include:
- Texas Health Care at Home, an innovative service model that brings hospital-level care directly into a patient’s home
- Pharmacy kiosks, developed by Texas Health Medical Support, allowing patients at Texas Health Breeze Urgent Care locations to receive medications without having to go to a retail location
- Quick Care video visits offer an alternative to the traditional urgent care experience by allowing patients to receive care from anywhere with an internet connection.
- Hospital2Home, giving patients who were recently discharged from a Texas Health emergency room (ER) the ability to message, share images and video chat with an ER physician on the medical staff for free for seven days
- Video visits connecting patients with physicians and advanced practice providers, both with their established medical providers
- A virtual patient observation program, featuring virtual monitoring for patients who are at risk for specific clinical conditions, including fall risk
