Excitement is building at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Denton as the Center for Women and Infants moves rapidly toward opening at the end of July.
“We are on time and anticipating an open house for employees in mid-July,” said hospital President Jeff Reecer. “We are thrilled for the addition and the ability to serve our community for generations to come. This is an exciting time for Texas Health Denton and our community.”
The Center for Women and Infants will enable Texas Health Denton to better care for area families as the only provider of obstetrical and neonatal intensive care services in the community. The four-story, 213,000-square-foot, $128 million addition will help meet the needs of fast-growing Denton County. The facility has been designed with extensive input from recent mothers and mothers-to-be.
