Shannon Fisher named VP of Foundation and Fund Development

A message from Jay McAuley, president, Texas Health Resources Foundation

I am pleased to announce that Shannon Fisher has been named vice president, Foundation and Fund Development for the Texas Health Resources Foundation.

In this role, she will have oversight of major gift fundraising campaigns to support Texas Health’s funding priorities. Together with the Foundation team, she will also lead the development of key community relationships to establish and grow philanthropic support.

Shannon began her career at Texas Health Resources in 2003 as an intern for the Presbyterian Healthcare Foundation (now Texas Health Resources Foundation) and worked as a patient care technician at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Hurst-Euless-Bedford. Since then, she’s had the opportunity to grow in her career and lead numerous fundraising efforts including the Associates campaign, the first Dallas Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) program grant and the implementation of the Texas Health Dallas NICU webcam system.

Most recently, Shannon served as senior director of Foundation Relations/Grants and Texas Health Community Impact. Working closely with her team of gift officers, they’ve raised more than $9.5 million to support Texas Health clinical programs, research and community outreach projects.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in biomedical science from Texas A&M University and a master’s degree in health care administration from the University of Texas at Arlington. She’s also actively involved in community organizations such as the 6 Stones Mission Network, Junior League of Dallas and the United Way of Tarrant County.

Shannon and her husband, Roger, have three boys, Brooks, Kingsley and Preston. When they’re not at the baseball field, the family enjoys spending time at their home on Cedar Creek Lake where they boat, fish, wakeboard and surf.

Please join me in congratulating Shannon on her promotion.
