Barclay Berdan, CEO of Texas Health Resources, recently appeared in a CNN story about the role Texas Health is playing in the Blue Zones initiative, and about “how the most coveted spots in our parking lot should be the ones farthest away.”
The Blue Zones parking spots have encouraged people to make the healthy choices the easy choices. Texas Health has been a leader in Fort Worth’s Blue Zones initiative, which has helped the city improve its well-being score from 185th to 31st in the nation over the past five years.
