Cleaning a patient’s feet who had heart failure that could no longer wear shoes to receive a total hip arthroplasty.

How has Texas Health helped you transform your career?
I was selected in The Prodigy Program 2009 and worked as a PCT and Monitor Tech while attending school to become a RN. Tuition Reimbursement has helped me reach and further my professional goals.
Let’s talk Work Life balance. How do you disconnect and what do you do for fun?
For me there is no disconnect because work is fun. I am blessed to have awesome team building events and positive and welcoming work culture. When I’m not at work I like to give back to the community through my local AORN Chapter FORT WORTH #4406.
