For the first time ever, the ANCC has recognized Texas Health Hospital Rockwall as a Pathway to Excellence® hospital. Texas Health Rockwall is the ninth Texas Health facility to earn this prestigious designation.
“At Texas Health Rockwall, we strive to create a professional practice environment that engages our team to do their best work,” said Tami Hlus, R.N., chief nursing officer at Texas Health Rockwall. “We promote professional development and shared decision making and we’re thankful to be recognized for our efforts.”
The ANCC considers many elements when designating healthcare facilities as Pathway to Excellence® including leadership, quality and safety.
There are 203 Pathway organizations in the world. Of those 203 organizations, 38 are in Texas. These designations are made every four years.
