Unit Secretary/Day Surgery

Work location: Texas Health Frisco, 12400 N Dallas Parkway, Frisco, TX 75033
Work hours: Full Time Days (M-F: 0600-1230 or 0700-1330) for 40 hours per week.
Surgery Ambulatory Department highlights:

Fast-Paced, high-volume department averaging 40-50 patients/day

Robust Unit Based Council (UBC) and engaged leadership team
-
Close collaboration with unit Charge nurse, as well as other departments, including OR, Cath lab, GI lab
Here’s What You Need
-
H.S. Diploma or Equivalent Required
- Admin experience preferred
Possesses organizational skills to function in a fast-paced work environment, positive ssesses organizational skills to function in a fast-paced work environment, positive interpersonal skills, and good verbal and written communication skills

Texas Health Frisco is a 93-bed, acute care hospital that has served the Frisco community and surrounding western Collin County and Denton County areas since 2019. Our hospital provides convenient access to care for patients from Frisco, Little Elm, The Colony, Prosper, McKinney, and nearby communities.
We provide specialized services in women’s health, outpatient surgery, neonatal intensive care, emergency medicine, heart and vascular care, digestive health, and bariatrics. As a collaboration between Texas Health and UT Southwestern Medical Center, our campus includes a multispecialty clinic that offers access to academic medicine close to home.
Texas Health Frisco is Joint Commission-certified as a Level III Trauma Center and Acute Heart Attack Ready facility. We are also a designated Baby-Friendly facility and recognized as a Pathways to Excellence organization.
