Work location: Texas Health Kaufman 850 Ed Hall Dr TX 75142
Work hours: Part time 24 hours a week nights. Mostly Tuesday/Wednesday nights 7:00p-7:00a with 3-4 Sunday shifts in a 6-week period.
ICU Department highlights:
- ICU Department (8 beds) General Acute Intensive Care Unit swing bed unit based on acuity level. DKA, hyperthermia, hypothermia, various drips, step down patients, neuro patients, and more.
- Set work schedule that helps with future trip/school planning
- Robust Unit Based Council (UBC) and engaged leadership
- Strong NCAP/certification focus
Here’s What You Need
- Nursing Diploma Nursing Req Or Associate’s Degree Nursing Req Or Bachelor’s Degree Nursing is preferred
- 1 Year Experience as a Registered Nurse or completion of an RN residency program is required
- Critical Care RN Certification a plus, but not required.
- RN – Registered Nurse Upon Hire is required And
- BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly is required
- CPI – Crisis Prevention Intervention Training Maintained Annually 90 days is required And
- ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support 90 Days is required
- NRP – Essential Neonatal Resuscitation Program 90 Days is required And
- PALS – Pediatric Advanced Life Support 90 Days is required Or
- ENPC – Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course 6 Months is required And
- TNCC – Trauma Nursing Core Course 12 months is required
