Quality Improvement Coordinator RN

 Here’s What You Need:

·        Current RN licensure upon hire Required

·        Associate’s Degree Graduate of an accredited Nursing program

·        Completion of BSN within two years of earliest start date in a Texas Health RN role is required.

·        Bachelor’s Degree Nursing preferred OR

·        Master’s Degree health-related field preferred

·        Minimum 3 years of experience in acute care setting required

·        1 year of experience in healthcare quality/performance improvement preferred

·        CPHQ – Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality 3 years preferred

·        Microsoft Office skills, knowledgeable in the application of statistical data.

·        Prefer Knowledge of Joint Commission and standards, PI tools, Lean Principles and statistical analysis.

What You Will Do:

·        Pursues/achieves/maintains required applicable certification and licensure.

·        Pursues professional growth and development of required knowledge and skills

·        Promote stakeholder engagement and interprofessional collaboration to improve care processes, patient outcomes, and patient experience.

·        Communicate effectively with a wide variety of audiences to support achievement of quality goals.

·        Implement standard performance and process improvement (PPI) methods.

·        Acquire data from source systems.

·        Use organizational procedures to identify and report patient safety risks and events.

·        Use knowledge of standards and regulations to facilitate and support continuous regulatory compliance, serving as a subject matter expert for others.

·        Monitor the impact of value-based payment initiatives and quality report cards
