Registered Nurse III – ICU Department

Work location:  Texas Health Kaufman 850 Ed Hall Dr TX 75142
Work hours: PRN – 1 shift/week requirement Tuesday/Wednesday nights and some Sunday night shifts (7:00pm – 7:00am) 

ICU Department highlights:

  • ICU Department (8 beds) General Acute Intensive Care Unit swing bed unit based on acuity level. DKA, hyperthermia, hypothermia, various drips, step down patients, neuro patients, and more. 
  • Set work schedule that helps with future trip/school planning
  • Robust Unit Based Council (UBC) and engaged leadership
  • Strong NCAP/certification focus

Here’s What You Need

  • Nursing Diploma Nursing Req Or   Associate’s Degree Nursing Req Or   Bachelor’s Degree Nursing is preferred

     

  • 1 Year Experience as a Registered Nurse is required
  • RN – Registered Nurse Upon Hire is required And 
  • BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly is required
  • CPI – Crisis Prevention Intervention Training Maintained Annually 90 days is requiredAnd  
  • ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support 90 Days is required
  • A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
