Work location: Texas Health Arlington 800 W. Randol Mill Road TX 76012

Work hours: Full Time Day shift (40hours) Monday – Friday, hours may fluctuate based on needs and scheduling.

Education

  • Nursing Diploma Nursing Required Or
  • Associate’s Degree Nursing Required And
  • Bachelor’s Degree Nursing Preferred

Experience

  • 3 years of combined experience in Telemetry, ICU and/or CVCU nursing is strongly preferred
  • 1 Year Experience as a clinical nurse or completion of an RN residency program Required

Licenses and Certifications

  • RN – Registered Nurse Upon Hire Required And
  • BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Required

  • Engaging family members in health decisions per patients’ wishes
  • Conducting routine family meetings
  • Sharing available resources with families
  • Establishing, maintaining and discontinuing appropriately therapeutic relationships with patients/families
