Surgical Associate- Full Time, Days

Here’s What You Need 

• H.S. Diploma or Equivalent Req
• previous patient care experience Pref
• BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Req
• Read, write and speak English; Able to stand/walk for majority of hours of their work shift; Easily move heavy equipment & supplies ( up to 250 lbs on wheels) without endangering themselves or others.

What You Will Do 

• Completes routine stocking chores:
• Ensures two arm boards and safety strap available for case 
• Stocks and replaces suction liners
• Assists in moving patients to and from the operating room suites.
• Assists in room cleanup before and/or after surgery.
• Follows directions of circulating nurse in obtaining equipment, instruments and supplies as requested.
