Work environment: Nursing Units ; candidate must be willing to commit to any unit upon time of application. Exact unit to be determined during the selection process.
Training hours during paid apprenticeship: Full Time; Monday – Friday , Days , 36- 40 hours per week between 7:30 AM and 5:30 PM
Work hours: 36 hours per week , Rotating Day And Night Shifts

Qualifications:
Education:
H.S. Diploma or Equivalent Req
Licenses and Certifications
BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Req
Complete PCT apprenticeship program. Curriculum to include:
– Basic patient care skills
– Patient rights, communication, safety, observation and reporting
– Assisting patients in maintaining basic comfort and safety
Skills
Possesses organizational skills to function in a fast paced work environment, positive interpersonal skills, and good verbal and written communication skills.
