Here’s What You Need
Education
H.S. Diploma or Equivalent Required
Other Graduate of an AMA approved / accredited Ultrasound Program Preferred
Associate’s Degree Preferred
2 Years ultrasound experience in a hospital radiology department Required
1 Year leadership experience Preferred
BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly  Required And
ARRT – American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Sonography and two additional modalities Upon Hire  Required Or
ARDMS – American Registry for Diagnostic and Medical Sonographers in three modalities Upon Hire  Required
Other RVT or VT(RVS) as one modality if performing vascular sonography Upon Hire  Required

Skills
Competency in appropriate specialties. Excellent communication skills. Ability to work with minimal supervision. Ability to make independent decision while maintaining tact, maturity and a positive attitude. Initiative and judgement required in assuming responsibilities. Excellent customer service, interpersonal and ability to multitask.

What You Will Do
Team Leader Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the daily operations of all assigned areas to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Monitor, manage, and approve staffing levels to meet operational needs.
  • Provide leadership and direction to employees within assigned areas.
  • Participate in performance evaluations and support coaching and counseling efforts for team members.
