Work Hours: Full Time Days, 40 hours, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

Position Responsibilities:
Ensures efficient and effective workflow as well as a high level of customer service. 20%
Conducts and oversees quality assurance and quality control. 15%
Conducts and oversees lab testing, analysis and interpretation of lab results. 15%
Addresses, investigates and resolves issues pertaining to staff, patients and lab. 15%
Supervises lab staff on a daily basis including HR responsibility for performance management salary administration. 15%
Ensures proper training of staff. 15%
Performs other duties as assigned. 5%

Education
Bachelor’s Degree Medical Technology or equiv. Req Or
Associate’s Degree Medical Lab Technician Req
Experience
3 Years Experience in a clinical laboratory environment Req
Licenses and Certifications
MT(ASCP) – Medical Technologist Upon Hire Req Or
MLT(ASCP) – Medical Lab Technician Upon Hire Req Or
MLS(ASCP) – Medical Lab Scientist Upon Hire Req Or
Other AMT Upon Hire Req
Skills
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Excellent communications skills and ability to interact with staff and management.
Proven ability to handle personnel actions and lead others.
Familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures within field.
Possesses a strong work ethic and a high level of professionalism.
