Work hours: Full Time 40 hours M-F 8-4:30; Flexible shift. Minimal Call Required

Here’s What You Need

Education
Other Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology Req Or
Associate’s Degree Pref

Experience
3 Years experience in specialty discipline (CT, Mammography, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound, Interventional) Req and
previous team lead or supervisory experience Pref

Multimodality experience strongly preferred

Licenses and Certifications
CMRT – Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist if ARRT Upon Hire Req And
ARRT – American Registry of Radiologic Technologists ARRT (R) Upon Hire Req And
ARRT – American Registry of Radiologic Technologists CT, M, MR, N or S if ARRT Upon Hire Req Or
CNMT – Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist Upon Hire Req Or
ARDMS – American Registry for Diagnostic and Medical Sonographers in three modalities Upon Hire Req And
BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Req

What You Will Do

Supervisor Responsibilities
  Maintains department/employee records
– Ensures that Standards of Practice, technical quality are maintained
– Provides direct supervisory oversight to team leads and technologists (employed and contracted)
– Assists with annual evaluations, coaching, mentoring, recruitment, retention, education and orientation
– Attends leadership functions in the absence of the director/manager, as needed

Imaging Procedures, Quality and Processing
– Oversees and assigns the Quality Control processes (KPI) in assigned areas
– Supervises the work and workflow of the technologists to include: Provides proper patient education – Positions patient properly for diagnostic exams Adjusts technical factors to account for age-specific – criteria Maintains aseptic technique Manipulates image parameters as needed to obtain high quality diagnostic images Sends images to PACS Ensures department procedures are followed
– Updates department protocols and procedures when needed, but reviewed at least annually


Patient Care
– Makes daily staffing assignments for team leads and technologists
– Makes monthly staffing schedules, including on-call schedules, as needed
– Functions as a technologist as needed to maintain patient satisfaction, decrease wait times, maintain patient flow

Equipment Operation and Maintenance
– Manages the initial and annual competencies for new hires to include equipment operation and maintenance
– Supervises staff training on equipment and maintenance to include: Adjusting technical factors   Operation and maintenance of equipment Trouble-shooting malfunctions Stocking supplies Knowledge of equipment quality control requirements Cleaning equipment between patients and between shifts
– Troubleshoots equipment problems; works with internal and/or external resources to resolve issues
Schedules equipment maintenance with vendor

Professional Accountability and Partnership

-Ensure team leads and technologists follow facility and department policies and procedures
– Maintains compliance with regulatory agencies for team leads, staff technologists and self.
– Manages staff PTO requests and finds coverage, as needed
