Pharmacy Intern- PRN

Here’s What You Need

• H.S. Diploma or Equivalent is required And
• Other Pharmacy must be enrolled in Pharmacy school is required
• Other valid intern registration card from the Texas State Board of Pharmacy Upon Hire is required
• Proficient in written and verbal English language. Proficient in computer knowledge and use. Basic math and algebra skills. Good communication and problem-solving skills. 

What You Will Do

• Complete projects as assigned by Director of Pharmacy.
• Perform regularly assigned quality assurance functions.
• Prepare medications for dispensing.
• Medications are pulled promptly and accurately from carousel or other storage area.
• Assists in meeting legal requirements of the pharmacy and hospital.
• Performs pyxis stock maintenance functions.
