We’re looking for qualified Speech Language Pathologist to join our Texas Health family. Is that you?
Work location: Texas Health Dallas, 8200 Walnut Hill Ln, Dallas, TX 75231
Work hours: PRN – As Needed
- Variable weekday and weekends, with rotations for holiday coverage. Required minimum 36/hours a quarter, of which 16 are weekend hours.

Here’s What You Need
- Master’s Degree Speech Language Pathology (Required) or
- Post-Baccalaureate degree recognized by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (Required)
- 1 year of adult acute/rehab care experience strongly Preferred
- SLP – Speech Language Pathology Texas Speech Language Pathology License Required upon hire or
- SLP-I – Speech Language Pathology Intern Texas Speech Language Pathology Required upon hire or
- SLP – Speech Language Pathology Texas Speech Language Pathology License Required upon hire and
- BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support Required prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English; Problem solving ability; Ability to teach others; Time management skills; Good interpersonal and customer service skills; Basic leadership skills
What You Will do
- Uses therapeutic treatment techniques appropriate to patient age and desire for treatment
- Performs treatment procedures that are within the scope of the professional license
- Performs/delegates technical procedures appropriately and safely
- Utilizes a variety of treatment techniques to achieve goals, if necessary
- Determines patient response to treatment and evaluates progress (reassessment) Educates patient and family through instruction, demonstration, and/or appropriate handouts in treatment plan, safety issues, home programs/self management and assistive equipment
- Demonstrates competence in the performance of age-appropriate patient treatment and individualizes care based on age specific needs
