Radiology Extern—Radiology
Our radiology department is looking for a Radiology Extern to assist in providing top-notch care to our Patients. You will be responsible for guiding them through the process and assisting wherever you would be needed.
WORK LOCATION: Texas Health Dallas, 8200 Walnut Hill Ln, Dallas, TX 75231
WORK HOURS: PRN Rotating shifts as needed

QUALIFICATIONS:
• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Currently enrolled in a nationally Accredited Educational Program in Radiology required (I.E. JCERT) AND
• Have successfully completed (1) one semester in a nationally Accredited Educational Program in Radiology required (I.E. JCERT)
• BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
• Prepares room for examination (i.e. suction, oxygen, supplies) to ensure radiology suite is in working order and ready to use to reduce patient risk.
• Creates CDs for patient exams to provide accurate patient information.
• Collects proper dosages of imaging contrast media (medication) under the direction of the Radiographer
• Performs technical procedures safely and proficiently under the direct supervision of the Radiographer.
