Do you ever wish you could just sit down with a physician or a health care expert and chat? Maybe get a little advice? Texas Health Resources just made that a little easier.

Texas Health’s new medical podcast called Texas Health Out Loud features industry professionals, hospital leaders and experts discussing health care topics that affect you and our community. Podcast topics range from health tips such as ‘Is it time to squeeze in a mammogram?” to new and groundbreaking trends in health care such as the ‘upstream movement.’ All are done in a relaxed, conversational tone and don’t require a trip to the office.

“We know health care is confusing and people have questions, so we wanted to create a place where people can connect and find answers — and maybe get a laugh or be inspired along the way,” said Winjie Tang Miao, executive vice president and chief experience officer at Texas Health Resources. “At Texas Health we’re trying to bring new topics and insights to people where they are so it enriches their health and well-being — we think that’s so important in today’s world.”

Texas Health Out Loud hosts include Susy Solis, a former NBC5 and CBS11 North Texas television news reporter and anchor; and Aleshia Howe, a former newspaper reporter and editor and current member of the Texas Health Trends & Media team.

Guests include experts from across the Texas Health network of hospitals, facilities and outpatient centers who give insight to trending topics in the realm of health care. A few upcoming programs include:
