What do you enjoy most about working at Texas Health?
Texas Health Resources' identity, who we are, can be felt in any one of our locations. While I have worked at three different Texas Health locations and have visited a majority of our facilities, I have experienced our same culture at all. Our values are strong and communication is transparent and honest.
How do you live Our Texas Health PromiseSM?
I am very proud to work for Texas Health and for this reason, I feel it is easy for me to follow through with Our Texas Health PromiseSM standards. I believe in every standard we are held accountable to, and for me to have the same expectation of my staff, I must be a representative as well.
In your role, how do you help make care more convenient for North Texans?
I play a large part in the preparation of a patient coming to our facility. I work with departments to help them understand why they must follow through with expectations and reduce variation in their processes to eliminate negative outcomes for our consumers.
How do you help enhance patients' access to health care that is affordable, reliable and innovative?
I work with patients to help them understand their financial obligation but also to help them find the proper resources for their situation. While there are multiple avenues, I confirm I have given patients the knowledge to help them make the proper decision in these situations, but also enhance their knowledge that the services we provide are affordable and of value to them.
