Qualifications/Duties
SHIFT/HOURS:
Full-Time, 40 hrs/wk, Variable shifts

LOCATION:
Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas

REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION:
High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associates Degree in Criminal Justice or related field preferred

REQUIRED MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:
Two years of progressive experience as a law enforcement officer

REQUIRED LICENSE/CERTIFICATION:
Valid Texas Class C Drivers’ License and must be insurable

Must maintain a Texas Peace Officer License (TCLEOSE/TCOLE) and be in good standing with licensing and commissioning agency

REQUIRED SKILLS:
Ability to make independent decisions with tactful, mature and positive attitude; the incumbent must also demonstrate initiative in assuming responsibilities; the incumbent must be cooperative, discreet and courteous in handling visitors and employees within the scope of assigned authority

May be subject to further written and/or oral pre-employment testing and evaluations

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES (including, but not limited to):
Works with hospital Security staff to secure hospital grounds and property.

Provides security and assistance for hospital patients, staff and visitors.

Promotes future growth of PHD’s Security Program.
