MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
High School diploma or equivalent.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
1-2 Years of Hospital clerical, general clerical or Certificate of Achievement in clerical or Business related course.
Other hospital or physician office experience helpful.
Ability to type, spell, write or print legibly with general knowledge of personal computers required. Strong interpersonal communication, documentation and customer service skills required.
JOB DUTIES (INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO):
Relieves the Director of Patient Access of daily operational problems by responding to all forms of inquires by seeking the appropriate resources for resolution. Develops internal relationships with internal personnel or departments, vendors or customers to follow up issues.
Creates draft or final written correspondence for management review. Responsible for the Patient Access Sharepoint Site as well as the department Shared Drive
Assists management with expense tracking, reimbursements, and check requests.
Manages Director’s schedules and calendars. Monitors deadlines and may ensure deadlines are met and proper arrangements are made for presentations and necessary presentation materials.
Responsible for monitoring department activities and or as a project lead. May be part of a routine or special project committee
