Qualifications/Duties:
Maintenance Generalist for Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Cleburne.

HOURS:
Monday-Friday
1st shift / Full-time
Evening and weekend rotating call schedule

EDUCATION:
High school diploma or equivalent required

EXPERIENCE:
One year of maintenance experience in commercial or industrial environment required
One year healthcare environment experience preferred

LICENSE/CERTIFICATION:
Driver's License required
Prefer HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing license/certification

REQUIRED SKILLS:
Proficient in the use of computerized systems for all aspects of job performance;
Ability to perform basic building maintenance functions to include painting and general repairs;
Working knowledge of basic hand/ power tool operation;
Ability to recognize and solve practical problems or issues;
Ability to communicate maintenance problems to hospital departments and departmental supervisors;
Ability to work in extreme temperatures;
Ability to work unsupervised and in teams;
Excellent written,verbal, and listening skills;
Ability work nights, weekends, and/or holidays.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: (including, but not limited to)
Provide basic building repair and maintenance support including, but not limited to, general mechanical repairs, painting, electrical, plumbing, customer requests, grounds, and the like utilizing the computerized maintenance management system.

Participate in hospital and departmental safety programs, education opportunities, and related training.
