Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Hurst-Euless-Bedford is currently seeking an Infection Prevention Program Manager. This position provides leadership and program management for the hospital's infection prevention program.
Schedule/Hours: M-F 8am-5pm with some shared/rotating evening and weekend call duties. Majority of additional call will be done via telephone.
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in nursing, microbiology, medical technology, or related field required.
2 years of acute care hospital or infectious disease epidemiology experience required, supervisory experience preferred. Must hold license/certification in good standing in area of training.
Certification in Infection Prevention and Control required.
The successful candidate will possess knowledge and experience in areas of patient care practices, microbiology, asepsis, disinfection/sterilization, adult education, infectious disease, communication, computer and data management, program administration and epidemiology.
