Qualifications/Duties:
This RN will be working in the Radiology Care Unit and work Full Time in Fort Worth , TX providing invasive Radiology Recovery procedures in the Recovery Room.

The Radiology Care Unit is a holding/recovery area that serves inpatients and outpatients undergoing a variety of interventional procedures and radiology studies. Nurses here care for patients in preparation for before their procedure and assist in patient recovery afterwards. Recovery may include simple post procedure observation from anesthesia recovery for complex care patients.

Radiology Nursing provides both pre-procedure and post-procedure assessment, preparation, and care. Our nurses are highly skilled in the administration of moderation sedation for procedures. The primary functions of this specialty are:

Required minimum education:

*RNs hired after January 2017 require completion of BSN within 2 years of start date. RNs hired between January 2014 and December 2016 require completion of BSN within 3 years of start date.

Required license/certification:

*BCLS and ACLS - American Heart Association Basic Cardiac Life Support (Expiration date greater than 3 months preferred) upon hire
*RN - Registered Nurse upon hire

Skills and Abilities:

*A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.

Required Qualifications:

*Minimum of 1 year RN experience as an RN in Hospital Setting in PACU, Recovery, ICU , ED or Interventional Radiology . Willing to consider PCU or completion of RN Residency program.


Preferred Qualifications:

*BSN
* Minimum of 2 years PACU Recovery Setting experience or ICU

*Hospital Setting recovering critically ill patients.
*BSN
* Excellent IV starting skills
*General computer skills
*General Anesthesia Recovery experience

Shift:

*Varied Day Shift (Shift can begin anytime between 6AM-9AM). Department closes at 6:00 PM.
*9 hour shifts
*36 hours per week
*Full Time
*Weekday, Weekend and Holiday Call Required
*Must be able to respond within 30 minutes for call
