Qualifications/Duties:
Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Hurst-Euless-Bedford is seeking a weekend shift RAD CT Tech in the Radiology Department.

Schedule:
Saturday and Sunday 6:30 AM- 11:00 PM

Education:
Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technologic Program

License/Certification:
ARRT (R) and  CMRT by ether TDH or TMB required upon hire, ARRT (CT) required with in 12 months of hire,  and BCLS required with in 30 days of hire

Experience:
No Experience required, but 1 year of previous CT experience preferred

JOB DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
Produces radiographs according to accepted standards utilizing appropriate protocols.

Performs diagnostic procedures and computed tomography procedures.

Processes images according to protocol.

Transports patients as necessary according to established protocols.

Track patient exams in Flexi-Rad according to established protocol.

Incorporates the National Patient Safety Goals including but not limited to improving the accuracy of patient identification, improve the effectiveness of communication among caregivers and improve the effectiveness of the clinical alarm system.

Excellent communication skills. Ability to work with minimal supervision. Ability to make independent decisions while maintaining tact, maturity and a positive attitude. Initiative and judgment required in assuming responsibilities. Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language. Familiarity with PC/Windows
