Qualifications/Duties:
Courier/Driver PRN to support Texas Health Medical Support.

Location:
Report and return delivery van to Arlington each day, but service the East Fort Worth area

Hours:
PRN “as needed” Monday-Friday 9:30am-6:00pm
Occasional Saturdays as needed

Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent required

Experience:
No experience required

Licenses/Certifications:
Valid Texas Driver's License upon hire

Skills:
Certain THR drivers (Tier 3) are required to receive an eye exam as part of their annual Employee Health Assessment and must meet the DOT CDL vision standard. The DOT CDL standard enforced for these eye examinations to include: 20/40 vision in both eyes (with or without corrective lenses) and peripheral visual field of 70 degrees. Drivers not meeting the requirement will not be authorized to operate THR Fleet vehicles.

Job Duties:
Operate company vehicles safely (obeying all applicable traffic laws and maintaining a clean driving record) while transporting items.

Follow all transportation and lab policies pertaining to medical specimens and protected patient information. Handle specimens properly and safely. Use "Sorry we missed you" tags when needed. And any other necessary tags.

Drive the route effectively to minimize down time and display good time management skills.

Report vehicle maintenance needs to management.
Maintain company vehicle -- keep it clean and a sanitary workspace at all times

Create and maintain a good customer service oriented relationship with clinic personnel.
