The Siratt Women's Center at Texas Health Hurst Euless Bedford (HEB) Hospital, a baby friendly facility, has a PRN opportunity for an experienced Maternal/Newborn RN.

Qualified candidates must possess the following:


* Education:

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
RNs hired within THR after December 2016, require completion of BSN within 2 years of start date.

* Required minimum experience:

One year experience as a clinical nurse, or completion of an RN residency program.

* Required license/certification:

Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing upon hire; and Current AHA BLS/CPR training certification upon hire

* Credentials specific to specialty as defined:

Current NRP certification upon hire

* Required skills (if applicable):

A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.


- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
(Must obtain BSN within 2 years from date of hire)
- More than 1 year of current RN experience in Mother/baby, couplet care departments.
- Breastfeeding education and support

Hours/Schedule: PRN; Day shift  - 7A - 7P; 8 hours/pp

12-bed Mother/baby unit
