PRN (as needed) Variable Days including Weekends 7am-7pm
Graduate of AMA approved Respiratory Care Program
1 years of Med / Surg or Critical Care experience preferred.
***Able to perform incubations and knowledgeable of bronchoscopies is a plus.***
LICENSE / CERTIFICATION:
RCP - Respiratory Care Practitioner
RRT - Registered Respiratory Therapist
BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support
Preferred Upon Hire:
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support
NPR- Neonatal Resuscitation Program
A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast paced environment. Good patient evaluation skills.
The ability to read, write, and speak English with a high degree of understanding. The ability to hear and interpret breath sounds with a stethoscope. The ability to read computer terminals, ventilator settings, etc. while performing respiratory duties. Able to perform intubations, knowledgeable of bronchoscopies, and cleaning/service requirements of respiratory equipment.
