Texas Health Physicians Group seeks to hire a Medical Assistant/Receptionist or a Certified Medical Assistant/Receptionist to work Full Time for the Southeast Zone Float Pool

*This position is required to travel between clinic sites in Forney, Kaufman, Sunnyvale, Dallas, and Rockwall areas. Travel is expected to be about 80% of the time.

The schedule is Monday-Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm
*Hours may vary slightly based upon clinic assignment

The ideal candidate would possess the following:

Medical Assistant Qualifications:
*High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
*Graduate of Accredited Medical Assistant program within 30 days of hire is required
*5 years of Medical Assistant experience in a physician's office in lieu of Medical Assistant Program is required

*1 year of Medical Assistant experience is required

Licenses and Certifications:
*ACLS or BLS is preferred
*Non-Certified Radiologic Technician training may be required


Certified Medical Assistant Qualifications:
High School Diploma or Equivalent is required

1 year of Medical Assisting experience is required

*Certified Medical Assistant is required
*ACLS or BLS is preferred
*Non-Certified Radiologic Technician training may be required.
