Busy 24 bed Medical-Surgical/Bariatric Inpatient unit, seeking an energetic RN to work Full time during the night shift (7p-7a).
Candidate to work 3 scheduled shifts per week, with every other weekend required. No set schedules permitted. Some Holidays required.

Graduate of a NLN (National League of Nursing) or CCNE (Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education) accredited nursing programs.
RNs hired after January, 2014, require completion of BSN within 3 years of start date. RNs hired within THR after December, 2016, require completion of BSN within 2 years of start date.
One year experience as a clinical nurse, or completion of an RN residency program, or acceptance into a THR residency program.
Texas Board of Nursing license to practice as a RN upon hire.
Current AHA BLS training upon hire.
ACLS required upon hire
CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training required upon 60 days after hire.
Charge Nurse Preferred
The RN must practice within the regulations of the Texas Nurse Practice Act, serve as a role model, intra/interdisciplinary collaborator and coordinator for quality patient care.
A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills and ability to function in a fast-paced environment is also a must.
