Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Stephenville is seeking a Monitor Tech to work variable shifts includes some weekends and holidays.
Monitor Tech PRN to work "as needed" at least one variable shift per week depending on department need at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Stephenville. May be asked to cover other shifts as needed.
High School Diploma (or GED) required
1 Year direct patient care experience involving telemetry monitoring
completion of educational program which includes telemetry monitoring
Completion of Telemetry/EKG test within 30 Days
CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training within 60 Days
High degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, ability to function in a fast-paced environment, excellent verbal and written communication is essential, computer literacy is required; basic EKG interpretation preferred.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: (including, but not limited to)
Timely completion of charge sheets and/or other reports specific to unit needs.
Active participation and contribution in meeting

Demonstrate positive role modeling, mentoring, and support for new employees, physicians, students and other customers.
Performs all tasks in a timely and proficient manner, to meet the needs of physicians, staff, patient, and other customers. Communicates effectively. Safely performs cardiac monitoring, if applicable.
