Texas Health Harris Methodist Ft. Worth, a MAGNET status and baby-friendly facility, has a full- time experienced GYN RN opportunity.
27-beds: GYN, GYN Surgery department - all female patients in various age ranges with complex diagnosis
Will work with GYN, post-surgical patients - variety of surgeries to include hysterectomies, breast surgeries; Postpartum (NICU moms), and Antepartum patients (21-weeks or less gestation); Remote Telemetry.

Qualified candidates will possess the following:
Graduate of a NLN (National League of Nursing) or CCNE (Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education) accredited nursing programs.
Associate's degree in Nursing is minimum.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
RNs hired after January 2017 require completion of BSN within 2 years of start date. RNs hired
between January 2014 and December 2016 require completion of BSN within 3 years of start date
One (1) year experience as a clinical nurse (RN), or completion of an RN residency program.
Prefer 1 to 2 years of Med/Surg RN experience from an acute care facility.
Will consider Telemetry and Postpartum RN experience as well.
Current Registered Nurse license to practice in Texas or Compact State upon hire
Current AHA BLS/CPR certification upon hire
REQUIRED SKILLS (if applicable):
A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
(Must obtain BSN within 2 years from date of hire)
Prefer 2 or more recent years as a Med/Surg RN from an acute care facility,
Postpartum experience acceptable
Excellent customer service skills.
Basic computer skills - computerized charting: on EPIC/Care Connect.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Skills: IV starts, medication administration, vitals, patient assessments, patient education
Full-time: 36 hours/week = (3) 12-hour shifts/week
including weekend and holiday shifts/coverage; 6:30PM-7:00AM; self-scheduling
