*** Shift/hours Full time 7P-7A shift with rotating days of the week, including some weekends ***
Required minimum education: BSN preferred. RN’s hired after January 2017, require completion of BSN within years of start date. RN’s hired within THR after December, 2016, require completion of BSN within 2 years of start date.
Required minimum experience: One year experience as a clinical nurse, or completion of a n RN residency program, or acceptance into a THR residency program.
Required license/certification: Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing; Current AHA BLS upon hire. ACLS within 90 days NIHSS stroke certification. CPI within 60 days
Required skills (if applicable): A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred experience: 1-2 years cardiac/step-down, progressive care, ICU in a hospital setting.
