Texas Health Resources is currently hiring a full time Manager Outreach Athletic Training for Texas Health Sports Medicine.

Texas Health Ben Hogan Sports Medicine does not just offer physical therapy. It reaches beyond the walls of the hospital and into the community, high schools and club sports teams. Athletic trainers regularly work with local sports groups and organizations. As a benefit to our community, Texas Health provides an array of services to support you, your team, school or university.

Texas Health Ben Hogan offers an athletic training outreach program which uses licensed athletic trainers to provide health care services to participants at practices, games, tournaments, and community events in North Texas

Experience and Education required:
Bachelor's degree. Licensed Athletic Trainer (LAT)

5 years of thorough comprehensive administrative and practical experience

Location: Either Fort Worth or Arlington area


Implement, supervise and manage the Texas Health Ben Hogan sports medicine outreach program including the mobile athletic training room and outreach program. Negotiate and secure signed contracts with institutions, schools and club sports for the provisions of supplying licensed athletic trainers to fulfill said contracts.
Communicates with legal and compliance departments to ensure proper application of rules and regulations.
Ensures ongoing communication between program clients and follow up regarding care for referred clients. Develops and maintains a scorecard to measure quality assurance of the program. Responds to emergency situations appropriately, recognizes safety hazards to protect patients, self and others at events. Demonstrates knowledge of
preparedness codes.

Visit Schools, Institutions, physicians offices, coaches and athletic trainers, amateur sports clubs for communication, marketing, PR purposes and to develop and host continuing education seminars, workshops and lectures for the program; maintain strong focus on physician relationships.

Act as advisor, supervisor, and instructor and mentor for athletic trainers, athletic training students and others involved in the TH Ben Hogan Sports medicine outreach program. Serves as spokes person for and representative of
the Texas Health Sports Medicine outreach program for THR at professional organizations, local and national media outlets and special sporting events. Markets and develops relationships with national organizations (such as the AMA
and AAOSM) to promote the Ben Hogan Sports Medicine program.

Responsible for reviewing and developing viable new product lines and business opportunities for Texas Health Ben Hogan Sports Medicine program in the THR system. Will work with THR marketing departments to review new opportunities in product lines that involve sports and physically active participants and athletes. Once the new
product line is identified, will work with hospital departments as appropriate to integrate the new program into the system. Will monitor and implement appropriate marketing strategies to help grow the program. Will be available as
requested to assist system physicians who wish to develop their own service lines that do not conflict with THR product lines. The work will be consistent with all the federal regulations pertaining to physician relationships.
