We are in search of a Nursing Supervisor for our 55 bed Emergency Department.
In order to qualify for this the following criteria must be met
Graduate of a NLN (National League of Nursing) or CCNE (Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education) accredited nursing programs.
Nursing Supervisor hired after April 2017, require completion of BSN within 2 years of start date
Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing upon hire
BCLS upon hire
ACLS upon hire
PALS or TNCC upon hire
CPI within 60 days of hire
Two years (2) experience as a clinical nurse with previous experience as a charge nurse or similar
leadership role (i.e. Charge nurse, committee chair, preceptor)
A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
Full-time; 40 hrs/week; Night shift, 7p-7a, every other weekend required, 2- 12 hour and 2- 8 hour shifts per week.
Serves as a role model, intra/interdisciplinary collaborator & coordinator for quality patient care
Possesses organizational skills to direct & manage care on a nursing unit for an individual shift
